The Yuddhakanda contains some of the most extraordinary events and larger-than-life characters to be found anywhere in world literature.

This is a really voluminous part of Valmiki's Ramayana. Professor Robert P. Goldman has translated it with utmost respect for the original in Sanskrit. It will be sheer delight to trudge through monumental scholarship.
