Lacks Detail Information for Best Photography

The book provides information on some of the best sites for scenic photography, but provides minimal details on best locations from which to photograph these sites and best times of day to do so. Most of these sites are also the most visited tourist locations and listed in many travel guides.

Half a loaf

Too general for an experienced photographer, too advanced for a beginner, not enough local detail - but that's just my opinion. New Zealand is stupendous, but this book was kind of ho-hum for me. I've been an amateur photographer for 40-some years, so consider the source.
