Great.

I bought this book due to the recommendation of a couple of my German professors at University as well as the recommendation of a professional linguist. This book is dense and has a ton of vocab and helpful learning exercises that resemble the kinds of tasks you need to complete on the actual B2 exam. It also has an answer booklet that comes with it so you can check all of your answers to the exercises. I have not taken the B2 personally but I can only imagine that this book would be great preparatory work if complemented with the B-Grammatik book by the same publisher. I would highly recommend this book for those already at a B1 level looking to advance in their learning of the German language.

I microscopic print of one of the best philosophical texts ever

The work itself is inarguably the best version of Lucretius, and that would be an automatic 5 stars. Unfortunately, the size of the thing is so small, it borders on being a prank. It's 5x7" and the text appears 3-4pt font, which is barely larger than a pharmaceuticals insert you get with medicine. It really seems like Oxford University Press is telling us all, "we have the best of the best in Latin, and we're the only source, so we can totally give you the middle finger, and you'll still be back for more. So go buy a magnifying glass and shut up about it." The size of this book is an insult to the reader.

An good volume for the true Omamori Himari Fan

This volume is for the Omamori Himari fan who wants information about the Demon Slayer Families, the main characters, and summaries of the first five volumes all in one place. There are also several side stories that provide some background to events in the main story arc, such as how Kuesu acquired a "treasury of knowledge," which turned her hair from black to white. The volume begins with the gang visiting a hot springs and Yuuto ending up on the women's side of the pool. Everyone is naked, of course. The volume also includes profiles of the main characters, a dream sequence by Rinko about her and Yuuto when they were just becoming friends, and a story about when Himari visited the 3rd Ranked Kagamimori Family for a short fight sequence. Himari and Kasuri, one of the Shrine Maidens from the Kagamimori Family, make reference to the latter story in volume 9. I must admit that there were times when I went to various websites for information about this manga because I had trouble following some of the plot threads. This volume brings together information touched on here and there in the first 9 volumes, but never presented in a clear way, at least for me. Thus, I really appreciate this volume and how it helps fill-in some of the gaps in my knowledge about the overall setting of Omamori Himari. I recommend it for anyone who wants to know all that he/she can about the people in this manga and their history. On the other hand, there isn't anything here which is vital for understanding the main story. If you love Omamori Himari as much as I do, then then buying this supplemental volume is money well spent.

A Collectors Edition For Sure With Extras From Three Characters' Pasts

Okay, first off this volume does not add to the progression of the storyline, so if you aren't a fan of learning character backgrounds or learning about the techniques in creating the characters, you may not want to buy this. For those of you that are, it is definitely worth purchasing. Besides the aformentioned breakdown of the characters, including clothing, characteristics, and weapons, there are three short stories from the characters' pasts. Two are in manga format and one is in novel format. This is indeed a worthwhile read for a dedicated fan.

About the Author
Alex Dugdale was until recently Head of Division of Veterinary Anaesthesia at the University of Liverpool, UK, and is currently studying for a PhD. She holds the RCVS Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and the ECVAA Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia, as well as the PGCert (Learning and Teaching in Higher Education). She has over 10 years’ experience of teaching veterinary anaesthesia.

Great book for a veterinary student. Has indepth info about drugs, breathing circuits and pain. I use it frequently for my surgery/anesthesia rotation.

DON'T BUY THIS BOOK FROM "Print Books USA"

I very recently bought a similar book from "Print Books USA." They clearly give you the impression that they are a USA based company, but when the book is shipped to you it arrives from New Delhi, India (that should tell you something right there). When I first saw that I had a package arriving from Fedex Express, New Delhi, I was a bit nonplussed. But, I quickly determined it was the book.

When the package arrived, it was clean and undamaged. No bends, creases or marks on the package itself. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw this because I am so used to getting beaten up books from the USPS through Amazon, where you can immediately tell from the package the book is a goner.

To be clear, I bought the book as a new book, paid the new book price, just as this one. When I opened the package, the book was covered in dirt and grime. Black dirt. It had a massive crease, not just on the cover, but one that penetrated EVERY single page in the book, along the vertical axis of the book. As if someone had stuck it in a vise and clamped it good. Every page in the book was creased, not just in one spot, but perhaps 10 or 20 spots on each page, suggesting that it had been someone's school textbook. It had been well-read. Over and over. Dirt on the inside pages. ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT THAT IT WAS A HIGHLY USED BOOK.

I contacted the seller and he offered a refund. It never appeared. I told the seller the same spiel, but he still insisted that it was delivery damage. Not possible. Physically impossible. If the package is unblemished, then the only way to damage the book without damaging the package is if you happen to know the "Five Fingers of Death Kung Fu Technique," and you use it on the book.

I cannot say that my story is being repeated in all of their bookselling, but if you receive an obvious used book and the seller obviously tries to cover it up and lies about it, then I don't think that bodes well for their business ethos. They have the appearance of someone that is selling used books for new. I have told Amazon about this, but they have done nothing. You can hardly blame a multibillion megacompany like Amazon for not bothering with swatting gnats like this. So, I leave it to you good people to help with the swatting.
