Awesome reference tool
By Ndpleas
This is such a wonderful little book. I hadn't read the Constitution since school. I had forgotten what a simple yet powerful document it is...and how great to be able to stick it in my purse! It's also amazing to see how the recognition as citizens and acknowledgement of the rights of African-Americans changed so drastically within the context of the Constitution. It's incredible how far we've come from where we were in this country...and hopefully continuing to grow. This little book is a gem that offers incredible perspective on our country as it relates to race.

This presentation of the US Constitution is invaluable to anyone who wants to know more about American History, Black History and the US Supreme Court. It is remarkable and a great companion for those reading Browne-Marshall's other excellent book "Race, Law and American Society; 1607 to Present."
